House Mate Wanted 😇
I have a lovely fully furnished room available for rent in Observatory Cape Town.
The room is in a four-bedroom house.
There are two of us downstairs and we have a private loft upstairs. If you like privacy then this we are you vibe. But we are also open to new friends and good energy.
I just redid the kitchen and it has a farmhouse theme, with a fully equipped Smeg gas stove, and a huge Samsung French door fridge. We also have all the equipment you need to cook and bake.
We have a stunning Sunroom/ lounge with a skylight with a beach cottage theme.
I work from home as a news editor and my brother is a law student. We will have guests now and again but for the most part we are super chilled.
We also have a UPS so you should not be impacted by load shedding if you need wifi 24/7 hehe. 😉
Rent: R9000 Per month including electricity, water and wifi
Cleaning: R100 per week
Parking: Off-street parking that is monitored by security
There is the spar right across from us that has parking available with 24/7 security but that is at your own cost and is about R500-600 a month.
Highlights of Observatory
We are super central and close to the hub of Observatory with its clubs, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, amazing second-hand stores and bookshops. But we are far enough that you won’t be bothered with noise or rowdy drunk people.
I am an online news editor and my brother, who shares the house with me is a law student. We have lived in Cape Town for 10 years. We love good energy and chilled people who are down to earth and will respect our home. 😇
