Airy loft in trendy Observatory
A bright and airy private loft in a newly renovated heritage home from the 1920s with a private marble bathroom vintage-inspired shower and generous built-in cupboard space. The loft is built on top of a three-bedroom house that has a newly renovated farm-style kitchen and tranquil lounge inspired by a beach house. The house has Wi-Fi and high ceilings, wooden floors and two fireplaces that make it the best place to relax and enjoy some luxury while on holiday.
The space
The property sits in a vibey area of Cape Town that boasts several bars and coffee shops. The house itself has three bedrooms in the main part and one loft upstairs. The farm-style kitchen and beach-themed lounge are downstairs and are open to guests.
I have three people downstairs. This is a house share but you will have your own bathroom and balcony.
Guest access
Guests have access to the shared lounge and farm-style kitchen. There is also laundry equipment such as a washing machine and drying rack available.
During your stay I am always available by text or you can just give me a call and I will be happy to help and explain anything.
I’m a news editor, and together with Marcia, my amazing domestic, who helps me run the house, we’ve created a welcoming space for travellers, students, and professionals looking to experience the vibrant energy and charm of Observatory. Guests stay for varying lengths of time: some just a month or two, while others find themselves staying a year or longer.
