I’m Odwa. I’m originally from the Eastern Cape, but I’ve been living in Khayelitsha for the past five years. My friends would describe me as easy-going, sarcastic, analytical, laid-back and independent. In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, either alone or with my friends. On the weekends, I often head out to Rands, Ace or eParkin, partying, and or hiking. One of my favorite places to go to is Long Street in Cape Town Cbd. I’m a junior software developer by trade, and I work a pretty normal 8-5 Mon-Fri schedule . During the week, I’m usually in bed by 22:30 and up by 6am. I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time and privacy especially when my woman comes over. I want my flat/apartment to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that’s constantly full of people. I’m open to the idea of my roommate hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. And I will also do so. I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized. My monthly budget is R3500, and I’m looking to move in sometime during November or February next year. I’m hoping to find a flat/apartment not far from Cape Town cbd. I would like my own bedroom. Ideally, the house/flat would have a Kitchenette, Shower and living room. If you’re someone that needs to have the volume on the TV up to the maximum, that is not an issue with me. I’m not a smoker but I do smoke hubbly a lot and drink on weekends. As long as we respect each others privacy and space.
