This is a peaceful cottage situated in a beautiful, resort-style complex surrounded by lush greenery. The complex has two communal swimming pools, with the cottage just a few steps away from one of them. The setting is quiet, secure and relaxed, with beautiful greenery during the day and a lovely outlook towards the evening lights and night sky.

The home is ideal for someone who appreciates a calm, clean and peaceful environment rather than a busy or highly social household. I am a qualified massage therapist and work from home during weekdays, so the atmosphere is intentionally quiet and tranquil. Wi-Fi is included, while electricity and water are charged separately at R250 each per month (R500 total).

The room is cozy and furnished with a double bed, bedside table, cupboard, server/food storage space and Smart TV. You can log into your own Netflix or other streaming accounts, and YouTube is also available. Wi-Fi is included.

The room is best suited to someone with a minimal lifestyle, as storage space is limited. It is therefore ideal for someone who primarily needs space for their clothes and essentials rather than lots of additional belongings.

The home is shared, so consideration, cleanliness and respect for the space are important. Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves and keep their bedroom and shared areas neat and tidy.

About the Roomie I’m Looking For

I am looking for a single female who is mature (not necessarily only in age but in mindset too), responsible, neat and naturally peaceful. Someone who works normal hours outside the home would be the best fit, as the property is not suited to someone who works remotely or spends most of their working day at home.

I’m looking for someone who enjoys coming home to a calm environment rather than someone who has a very busy social lifestyle, regularly comes home late at night or has people constantly coming and going. No visitors are permitted, as I work from home and value privacy, peace and a settled household.

Cleanliness is important to me. I’m looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own space, including regularly sweeping, mopping and dusting their room, and who cleans up after themselves when using the shared areas. I’m looking for a housemate, not someone who needs a maid or a mother. 😊

There are also two very friendly little dogs in the home, a Yorkie and a Jack Russell so you must be comfortable around and ideally love animals. They are peaceful dogs who generally follow me around or sleep and, once they get used to you, will simply go about their business.
