Hi! I’m a Brazilian biologist and geographer working in the environmental field, mainly with ocean and climate issues. I’ll be in Cape Town for about three months, from mid-December 2026 to March 2027, studying English at in the mornings and working remotely with Brazil in the afternoons.

I’m independent, easy-going and enjoy sharing a home with other adults while also having my own space. I’m travelling on my own and would love to live in a friendly and social household, where people can occasionally cook together, chat, have a drink or make plans — but with no pressure or expectations.

I love nature, the ocean, hiking, art and ceramics, exploring the city and discovering local culture. I’m particularly looking forward to experiencing Cape Town beyond the tourist side and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I’m looking for a furnished private room in Gardens or nearby, ideally with a private bathroom, good reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable place to work. I’m not looking for a party house, but definitely not an isolated home either — a relaxed, friendly household with professionals or other independent adults would be perfect.
