Hi! I’m Clare, a 27-year-old South African Chartered Accountant relocating to Cape Town for a new permanent accounting role near the V&A Waterfront. I expect to begin onboarding in mid-August and will be office-based from 1 September.

I’m friendly, considerate and easy to live with, but I also value a peaceful, clean and emotionally comfortable home. I enjoy having warm, relaxed interactions with the people I live with while still respecting everyone’s privacy, routines and personal space.

I’m responsible, financially stable, tidy in shared areas and mindful of noise. I do not smoke, I am not a party person, and I would be happiest in a calm household with other friendly young professionals. I enjoy good conversation, walks, Pilates, exploring cafés and restaurants, travelling, and occasionally sharing a meal or relaxed evening at home.

I’m looking for a furnished, secure home in Green Point, Three Anchor Bay, De Waterkant, Sea Point or another area with an easy commute to the V&A Waterfront. My ideal home would offer a spacious bedroom, my own private bathroom, good natural light and comfortable shared living areas. A balcony, view or outdoor space would be a wonderful bonus.

My preferred budget is up to R13,000 per month, although I can consider up to R14,000 where bills, Wi-Fi and furnishings are included and the home is an excellent fit. I am open to joining an existing household or teaming up with one or two other professional women to find a beautiful home together.

I’ll be returning to South Africa on 27 July and can arrange video calls beforehand and in-person viewings once I arrive. References, proof of employment and the required supporting documents can be provided.
