I am ordinary in a word. I am amicably separated (divorcing) without kids or pets. I am friendly & approachable. I am respectful and sensitive to others. I am decent in all the ways that matter. I am reliable & trustworthy. I clean up after myself and respect the privacy, territory and belongings of others. I have a great sense of humour…absolutely love a good laugh. Like to chat about anything and everything, but don’t suffer from excessive talking. I am a very young 60. I am not a church goer if it matters to you. Each to his own. I am bilingual. I am allergic to cats and cannot live with cats/dogs/birds inside a house. In the garden is fine… I’m an animal lover, lol - wanted to be a vet but allergies put paid to that! Cannot live with smokers. I am a quiet person that goes about my business. I mind my own business. I have my own car - secure offroad parking is very important to me. I am a clean person and don’t smoke. I drink a bit at social occasions if I’m in the mood. Alcohol is not a biggie for me. By quiet I mean I am not the life and soul of the party. Otherwise, I’m known for my bubbly personality. When I am at home I like to watch movies, read, paint/sketch, listen to music (headphones), write creatively and do online courses of interest. I go to bed quite early after a hectic day at work - to read or watch something. I like cooking and will cook if asked - what do I cook? Well, good old-fashioned dishes like stews & casseroles, roast chicken & trimmings, spaghetti bolognaise, stir-fries, curry, pasta bakes, lasagna, moussaka, meat/chicken/fish with veg or salad - simple meals after work & more leisurely on the weekend. I love taking leisurely walks, being at the sea and sitting on a stoep or in a garden. I like pot gardening & watering the garden (find it relaxing). I have a set of friends that I go out with. I go on the occasional date. I love a good braai. I totally enjoy my job and it is a very busy one based in Somerset West at a very well-known and established business. You probably know my employers. I expect the same treatment as described in return and don’t want to be part of heavy drinking, drugs, crazy parties, anything illegal or fanatical. I have a need for my environment to be safe (safety conscious roomies, burglar bars, security gates, safe parking). I just want to live an ordinary/normal/uncomplicated/happy life and with someone sincere about their posting/offer as am I. I am not a chancer and not looking for a chancer environment. Ongoing lease renewable yearly would be my preference. A simple contract/lease - of course! Ready to move into the right place. I’m looking to share a room in a house (if there’s a room with a private bathroom wonderful) otherwise we can share. Relatively close to my place of work in Somerset West. I am in the areas visiting clients often. I sometimes work from home which entails my laptop & headphones. We can talk about costs, but preferably need to be included in the monthly rental. A furnished room is preferable as I don’t have a bed but it depends.
