Looking for a housemate to move into this lovely, warm and colourful house in Observatory with me. The room is furnished but can be unfurnished if you have your own furniture. You will have your own bathroom, and there is a third room that can be used as a shared guest room and/or study. Rent is R9450 including internet, a cleaning service once a week and electricity (prepaid). Deposit is R8000. The house is in a central location on a quiet street and close to supermarkets and eateries. The lease is for one year with the potential option to renew. Available from 15 July 2026

I’m a lawyer working in civil society with sober habits and a zest for life. I prefer to keep things in the house tidy and I’m happiest when everyone is pulling their weight with a sincere consideration for other housemates. A bit of noise is okay but not at unreasonable hours. I also prefer open and reasonable communication (if you’re hotheaded please don’t apply).
