The apartment is ideal for a traveller, someone moving to Cape Town and working in the city, or someone wanting to escape the drudgery of winter and enjoy Cape Town life with their friends or family. If you work remotely, then this spot is perfect for you.
A bonus of this stylish apartment is that it never experiences load shedding. If you want to immerse yourself in art and nature as you explore the city, then this is the place for you.
The space:
The Red Lion Studio is located in a heritage building and is fully furnished.
There is a comfortable queen-size bed with memory foam, plus there is an additional sleeper couch if you need to host friends and family.
The apartment has a stunning En Suite bathroom that was inspired by Italy and boasts marble finishings, a crystal basin and a massive shower.
The living area has wooden flooring, and there are huge French doors to let in the light as you enjoy the lounge area.
There is also a 4-seater dining table that will allow you to host dinners and gatherings but also makes a great spot to work at when you need to catch up on emails.
The studio is fitted with a Smart TV with Netflix and Prime and a 50 mb/s fibre connection. The TV can be rotated 360 degrees so you can watch your favourite shows from the living area and the bedroom.
The Area
If you want to live in the vibrant city bowl, then the Red Lion Studio is the perfect spot for you.
The place was created for digital nomads and those looking to find accommodation in the city as it is extremely central and is about a 10-minute drive from Table Mountain and 20 minutes from the Waterfront.
The apartment is also close to the vibey Bree Street and is within walking distance to Kloof Street. So, if you need to catch up with mates and enjoy Cape Town’s exquisite restaurants and bars, this spot is ideal.
Guest Access
The studio is situated in a bespoke Art Deco building and is on the second floor. Due to the heritage nature of the building, there is no elevator, unfortunately.
