About the room

Your shared room is in an old-fashioned row-house in Woodstock. The facilities, however, are modern and upgraded. Student or professional, you’ll have easy access to public transport which takes you to the major universities and business districts in Cape Town. For leisure weekends, there are several stores, eateries and activities in Woodstock and surrounds. Your room for two people sharing is furnished with comfortable beds, ample cupboards and study space. You will share a bathroom (bath&shower, toilet) with two other Roomies. There’s also a second bathroom with a shower and toilet for the mornings when one bathroom just isn’t enough. You have the use of the kitchen, appliances and utensils and you’re welcome to bring and use your own, too. You’ll be house-sharing with the owner and one other Roomie. If you’re female, non-smoking, non-drinking, considerate, a good communicator who’s trustworthy, reliable and are not allergic to our cat, then we would love to meet you and potentially share this space with you. Of course, you must be able to pay R5000 per month every month on the 1st of the month which will cover utilities except electricity. Contributions to the prepaid electricity meter is subject to usage. A cleaner usually comes in once a week. Wifi is on the house.

About the roomies

One of the Roomies is the owner, a mature female professional in the education sector. She runs regularly with an athletic club, works into the night most week nights, cooks now and then (vegetarian and pescatarian meals). She spends weekends catching up with family and friends, watching Netflix, reading, hiking or running. She ranks respectful communication and consideration key qualities for sharing space.
