This is a lovely large room in a 2 bedroom apartment with a shared kitchenette, lounge (which you are welcome to use whenever you like obviously!) and bathroom with a shower only. The house is furnished, but your bedroom is not. Unfortunately, there is no garden but the property is surrounded by a huge wall and there are 2 security gates on the house and (quiet) neighbours surround it, so it’s extremely safe! It isn’t furnished and it doesn’t have a wardrobe but there is a chest of drawers and low cupboards that you’re welcome to use. There is no washing machine, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Note that I teach online and I work from home, so it would be best suited for a lady who does not work from home. It’s about 15 minutes drive away from Sandton Mall and 8 minutes away from Woodmead Retail Centre which has a lot of great shops. Also please note that although deposit is not required, there is a prepaid electricity meter and water is NOT included in the rent. So it’s the rent (R3000pm) + utilities. Fibre WiFi is available at an extra charge if you want it.

You would be living with me and my two 16 year old snugglebuddies, so it is essential that you love cats because they are allowed everywhere except in your room. I work from home as an online English teacher. I am extrovert and I enjoy reading, writing, bookstagramming and hanging out with friends and family. I would appreciate having a housemate who is Christian, but that’s not a total dealbreaker. Somebody friendly who enjoys playing cards and board games would be a great fit, but that’s not a must. Trustworthy and reliable FEMALE applicants only please! A couple would be considered at a push but then rental will be R4500 not R3000pm. Deposit is not required but a written lease will be. The room is available from 1 February 2024. Regret NO pets or children!
