About the room

I have 2 fully furnished rooms going for R4500 and R4 300 each. The main bedroom (R4500) is larger and has a queen sized bed, a desk, a chair and built in wardrobes. The smaller room (R4 200) has a 3/4 bed,built in cupboards and a drawer. The apartment has a single bathroom that both tenants would have to share. Both rooms will be available from 1 October. You are welcome to use the bedding or bring your own bedding. The apartment has a 65 inch Samsung Smart tv and a sound bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, washing machine , kettle etc. The rental of R4500 and R4300 excludes WiFi and the electricity is prepaid. The rent includes water. Prepaid electricity will be split between the two tenants. The deposit is R4500 and R4300 for each room and can be paid over 2 months. You will be given a tag. If you lose it, you will have to buy another one for R150. I am looking for neat tenants who will treat each other with respect and consideration. While I don’t mind the gender of the tenants,I would rather prefer that they are the same gender. Viewings will start from 18 September.

Only one person must occupy each room so unfortunately no couples sharing a room or parents with a child.

The apartment is also available for rental to a single family or occupant should you wish to take the whole apartment for R8 800.

There is a cleaning lady who can come either weekly or biweekly. She charges R300 per day. This cost is additional and optional and can be split between the tenants and the landlord if necessary.

About the roomies

The current occupant will move out on 1 October. You will be introduced to the new tenant when you move in. Please be considerate of your roomie and practice tolerance and kindness 😀
