This is my very special home, a quiet sanctuary, with a secret garden that is a delight! It is a creatively and warmly decorated space; full of art, colour and books. Yes, I’m a creative… a photographer and documentary filmmaker, and I love making this space more visually-beautiful and more homely with each element I add :)

ABOUT THE AVAILABLE BEDROOM The fully-furnished spacious spare bedroom faces the garden and has lovely light during the day. It has a very comfortable nearly-new queen size bed, fitted with a down feather duvet and pillows and bonus for winter - an electric blanket! There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space.

Uncapped high-speed (50 up/ 50 down) fibre internet is included in your rent.

There is a spare bathroom that is yours – note that is has a bath only with a manual shower head.

ABOUT THE REST OF THE HOME The large, fully-equipped kitchen has a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, cooking essentials and all the pots, pans and accessories any cook would possibly need. So perfect for someone who enjoys their cooking!

The open-plan kitchen, flows through to a 6 seater dining table and a cosy lounge. The lounge is home to the most comfortable couch in history - I promise! I have a wood burning fireplace, perfect for keeping warm on cold winter nights.

Double doors open onto a magnificent terraced garden which you can explore and enjoy – there are large trees, and grassy patches at the bottom where you can take a rug and enjoy some quiet time, completely surrounded by nature.

There is a six-seater outdoor dining table at the top of the garden. Here you can relax, and enjoy the wonderful selection of birds that visit the garden all day.

Further down there is a large fire-pit area perfect for making warm fires on cold nights. There is comfortable lounge seating around the firepit.

PARKING & SECURITY There is off-street parking for your car (x1) behind electric gates.

The property is secure, fitted with a remote-controlled alarm system with armed response.

AND - ANIMAL LOVERS ONLY PLEASE! I have a beautiful collie-cross called Comet, a sweet though independent and mostly outdoor cat, Alexandra, and a hugely characterful African Grey parrot, Rascal! They are all my fur babies and I love them madly!

AND – This rental would be for a 1, 2 or 3 month period – if it works out, we can look at extending maybe to 6 months, but unlikely longer.

I usually live alone and it’s been a while since I’ve shared my space, but I’m giving it a shot, hoping the universe brings the right person my way!

I am a documentary filmmaker and photographer, a madly hard-worker who is ever pursuing this elusive concept of “balance!” When I get it right, I’m out walking Comet, visiting friends, or on my friend’s farm horse riding :)

Note that I have a separate cottage on the property with a tenant, he is a gem!
