MUST LOVE CATS!! Looking for a third housemate to share a 3-bedroom apartment. Spacious room with built-in cupboard (an easy fit for a double bed, a desk, bookcase, etc) in a large, sunny 3-bedroom ground floor apartment in a secure block in Pinelands (quiet and peaceful neighbourhood). The room is currently semi-furnished with single bed, bookcase, desk and chair. Within walking distance (100m) from a small shopping centre with a Spar, Steers and Clicks, with easy access to public transport. Howard Centre about 2 km away. Roomie/ housemate will have full access to and use of all amenities in the apartment including the well equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, stove and fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, etc as well as countertop kitchen appliances ie kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, Air-fryer etc) and lounge and dining room areas (smart TV with DSTV Access, Netflix and Showmax). The property is fitted with fibre internet and roomie will have full, unlimited access. Water and electricity included but will depend on usage. No parking on the property but safe parking is available on the parking area at the shopping centre across the street (with guards and patrol services 24 hours a day) - there is a slight possibility of an onsite tandem parking bay, not confirmed at this stage.

I’m a semi-retired journalist working from home, easy to live with and respectful of people of all ages. I am young at heart and love the interaction with people of different generations and backgrounds. I’m currently sharing with a young biokineticist, but we are looking for an additional housemate for the 3rd bedroom and to share expenses. Looking for a quite, single professional person or responsible student, with sober habits and Christian principles. I have 3 indoor cats, so being a cat lover (without allergies!) is a must, but unfortunately it won’t be possible to bring your own pet. Also no smokers, or excessive drinking please, but if you love board games, you come with an advantage ;-)
