I am looking for an active, sociable, tidy, conscientious and considerate professional or post-grad student to share my gorgeous home - a Victorian gem, smack dang in Observatory central.

Rental is all-in-down-to-the-toilet-paper (except linen/bedding) including: • Partially furnished room (BIC, desk, chair) available for R7500; fully equipped kitchen and partially furnished house, • Lights, rates, water etc. • Uncapped fibre on UPS. • Weekly domestic • Delightful perks such as a vined courtyard under the watchful eye of Devil’s Peak for hosting and braais, morning-sunlit breakfast veranda, living room fireplace and a Victorian bathtub for two!

Living room and courtyard is deliberately kept sparse, so feel encouraged to use them for your movement practices (dance, yoga etc). Use to host more formal little gatherings, events, ceremonies, classes etc neg.

Looking for mid-term (3-6 months) rentals with option for extension, 1.5 months deposit required. Small furry critters neg+.

I work for a venture philanthropy fund for one of the world’s largest conservation NGO’s. I am at the office twice a week, WFH most of the time; into yoga, festivals, dance, music, sailing, nature and making the world a better place as a full-time occupation. I am looking for someone who is quite tidy, friendly and open, who will really use and enjoy the house and it’s spaces; feel at home and comfortable enough to host and partake the odd social, while being considerate, enjoying a healthy/active lifestyle, respectful of privacy, shared spaces and the weekly 9-to-5.
