I am looking for an active, sociable, very tidy, conscientious and considerate professional or post-grad student to share my gorgeous home - a Victorian gem, smack dang in Observatory central.

Rental is all-in-down-to-the-toilet-paper (except linen/bedding) including: • Fully furnished room (BIC, desk, chair, queen bed) available; fully equipped kitchen and fully furnished home, • Lights, rates, water etc., • Uncapped fibre on UPS., • Weekly domestic, • Delightful perks such as a vined courtyard under the watchful eye of Devil’s Peak for hosting and braais, morning-sunlit breakfast veranda, living room fireplace and a Victorian bathtub for two!

Courtyard is deliberately kept sparse, so feel encouraged to it for your movement practices (dance, boxing, yoga etc). Use to host more formal little gatherings, events, ceremonies, classes etc neg.

Looking for mid-term (3+ months) and long-term rentals. Rentals terminating 31st December will not be considered.

Note that couples, night workers and full-time WFHers will not be considered (so don’t ask).

You will be moving in with myself. one other long-term housemate, a 28 yr old au pair and stylist and an absolute cutie of a (very well behaved) french bulldog.

As for me, I work as a consultant in nature-positive impact finance. I work in town two/three days a week and from home the rest of the time. I am into yoga, capoeira, concert-festivals, dance, music, sailing, nature and making the world a better place as a full-time occupation.

We are looking for someone who is quite clean and tidy, friendly and open, who will really use and enjoy the house and its spaces; feel at home and comfortable enough to host and partake in the odd social, while being considerate, enjoying a healthy/active lifestyle, respectful of privacy, shared spaces and the weekly 9-to-5 schedule.
