About the room

The room is fully equipped with panoramic views of devil’s peak from the bed! There is a stylish cabinet for your personal things and stunning views of Lions Head and Table mountain from the bathroom.

The bed is a double and extra length and is very comfortable and modern, made with 100% aloe vera fibres so its naturally antibacterial.

The airflow is great between those two rooms!

You have access to the dining room area or the outside terrace to enjoy a meal. Or you can relax on the outdoor sofa. See pics.

You also have access to the kitchen which is fully equipped with the best stuff.

I am a pro in the kitchen and am looking for someone who will appreciate great meals that are not only tasty but have quality ingredients.

Conscious cooking is a bit more pricey but its still cheaper than Uber Eats and much better! Homemade pesto’s, Veg Lasagne’s, Woked Stirfies are just of the usual things you would get to try… Just be prepared to help with the cleaning to show appreciation and motivate me to cook more!

I’m preferably looking for shorter term lodgers and students or younger folk but I will consider anyone.

Three months is the usual longest period unless there is something that is uplifting about you being in my home i.e. adds to the energy not just occupies room.

We do our own cleaning and while its not strict I do like those that value cleaning and being in a neat space.

The area itself is one of the best in Cape Town and worth experiencing at least once! Its central and also close to public transport. The company gardens are also just a step across the road for some walking routines.

About the roomies

I am a experienced professional and so I do expect my roomies to be able to communicate well as I do and I try to set up regular times to check in and discuss how things are going. This way we never build up any resentment and communication is encouraged at an appropriate time where we can attend to it. (not random comments in passing which are very bad for energy and vibe).

I am friendly and honest and like to make sure anyone staying at me feels comfortable and welcome.

I may not talk very often outside of our catch up’s as I am usually on the go or wanting downtime when I’m home.

I also thought about informal mentoring for younger people that also want to benefit from years of experience in key skills like, Customer Experience, Sales & Marketing and Data/Business Analysis.

I would probably charge a bit depending on what your needs are as time and previous experience are valuable commodities so its only a fair exchange of value for that.

I hope that everyone staying at me will leave having learnt something new and having an experience to remember.
