To Let Now or 1 November 2026: Furnished Double Bedroom (Room 2) in a House in Morningside Manor, Sandton: Room 2 is a North-facing garden-view fully carpeted medium-sized bedroom (12 m2) with three-door built-in cupboard; furnished with a double bed, table, dressing-table and stool, chair, mirror, and lamp. Two rooms share the bathroom (bath, shower, toilet), and share the use of the kitchen with other occupants. This includes shared use of a refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, electric and gas hobs. The room is fully serviced, including cleaning on weekdays, bed linen, towels, and laundry (machine-washing, and ironing) twice a week. Monthly rent of R 6,000 for one person, or R7,500 for a couple (on a six-month lease paid monthly in advance), includes rates, water, electricity, and shared use of kitchen, dining room, lounge, patio, garden, lapa and pond. Uncapped Wi-Fi is free within reason. The room has a UPS-powered light for load shedding. No VAT is charged. The deposit is 2 months’ rent: It may be paid (and returned) over 2 months. The Tenant is to provide their own food, cutlery and utensils except as arranged, and do their own cooking and washing-up promptly. Parking for one car is under trees, or a carport at R400/month. There are obligatory House Rules with regard to noise and security. The Lessee must grant permission for the Lessor to make credit checks on them and to report performance to a credit bureau. Non-smokers will get preference. Computer use, scanning and printing are available at an additional charge. No pets allowed, no smoking indoors.

There are currently three other people living in the house, all women. Of them, one is temporary. There is another room with en-suite bathroom to let at R7000/month from November. The owner and his wife live in an adjacent cottage, and have an office in the house. A full-time housekeeper and part-time gardener live elsewhere on the property.
