A quiet 2-bedroom house in the Die Rand complex, surrounded by countless old oak trees and right next to the Kromrivier. It’s a peaceful spot to come home to, and the gated complex feels safe and relaxed. There’s a swimming pool and a laundry on site, and the room comes with its own garage. If you’re a student, campus is about 1km (a 15-minute walk) away.

We have our own courtyard in front of the house with a Weber and outdoor chairs, perfect for hosting your own braai, plus a communal braai area with a great view.

The house is already set up with a large sleeper couch and a dining table. The kitchen has a gas and induction stove, a fridge, a microwave and a toaster, and there’s an iron and ironing board. All you have to do is furnish your own room. I have plants around the house, and I’m very open to suggestions if there’s anything you’d like to add or replace in the shared spaces :)

I’m a 24-year-old senior International Studies student. I enjoy cooking, so the kitchen gets a lot of use. I like keeping things tidy and clean, so don’t worry, I clean up after myself. It’s a pretty chill house. I keep to myself for the most part, with the occasional braai or dinner with friends. I’m looking for a student or young working professional who is considerate, respectful, non-smoking and good at communicating.
