Perched on top of a mountain in Fish Hoek, with panoramic views across False Bay all the way to Noordhoek ~ sunrise over the ocean, swimmers and paddlers gathering on the beach below, full-sun patio, quiet nights. A private furnished room with its own ensuite and the best views in the house, your own parking space in the garage, and shared kitchen, lounge, garden and patio. Arranged over three levels, so there’s real privacy and space. This home is well appointed and well maintained ~ all you need is a toothbrush and your clothes. Early-morning swims and mountain paths on your doorstep! All inclusive: cleaning, laundry, high-speed internet, armed response, electricity. Work-from-home welcome (R2k more p/m).

It’s a calm, quiet, fairly sober home ~ one older dog, one cat, and me: a 50+ queer creative who works from home, gets up early, and likes plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. I’m hoping to share with someone thoughtful and a little bit fringe ~ nerdy and/or arty, good company when it’s wanted and never an obligation, neat and considerate, someone who’s done a bit of their own inner work and is easy to be around because of it, and content in their own company. I run my studio from a separate space on the property, so on weekdays a couple of colleagues are around and share the kitchen during working hours.
