About the room

Hi! I’m renting out a rooms in my house in Fish Hoek. The room is unfurnished (although I have a bed available if needed) but the rest of the house is fully equipped.

You can choose between a small room with a small ensuite bathroom, or a larger room with a shared bathroom with one female (me).

Short-term, fully furnished option also available for 2k extra per month.

Spacious kitchen and lounge / dining room with a fireplace. I just built a large wooden deck out back. Deck furniture will come in spring! The garden is an ongoing work in progress :)

Both rooms have just been painted and are looking super neat, just need your personal touch with furniture!

Located about a 7 min walk from Fish Hoek Beach and the train station.

I have a cat. She’s really sweet and friendly but mostly sticks with me / my room. No other pets allowed unfortunately.

We enjoy listening to music around the house at a reasonable volume, and friends pop in sometimes (not parties or anything).

Quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am. Secure parking available behind the gate under a carport. Rent includes water, electricity, wifi, domestic once a week, and alarm / security company.

I’m specific about cleanliness and have a list of rules regarding this. If that’s not okay with you we won’t be a good fit, I enjoy keeping a really clean space!

About the roomies

I’m Megan, I’m 30. I work from home and also do lots of tinkering / projects around the house. I enjoy the beach, walks, crafts, sewing, crochet, workouts, beers, live music and braais. I would love to have someone around that is keen to join me for some of these things :)
